Montana Tucker Puts Yellow Ribbon for Israeli Hostages Front and Center on Her Grammys Look
Forget about subtle silk ribbons adorning one’s lapel — at the 2024 Grammys, Montana Tucker wanted to make sure her yellow ribbon captured everyone’s attention.
The singer/songwriter and social-media star — with 9 million followers on TikTok and 3.1 million followers on Instagram — arrived at the Grammy Awards at L.A.’s Crypto.com Arena wearing a nude corset gown that featured an oversized yellow ribbon on the gown’s front, emblazoned with the message, “Bring Them Home.”

This awards season, yellow ribbons were first seen at the 2024 Golden Globes on Jan. 7 as a sign of support for the hostages still being held in captivity by Hamas since the terrorist organization attacked Israel on Oct. 7. Stars who wore the yellow ribbons at the Globes included Succession‘s J. Smith-Cameron and American Fiction‘s John Ortiz.
The words on Tucker’s ribbon are the same as the group Bring Them Home, the Israeli hostage advocacy organization that has been working behind the scenes to supply yellow ribbons at events, and for the Golden Globes was coordinated by Ashlee Margolis, founder of Beverly Hills-based branding agency The A List. It is believed that 136 Israeli hostages are currently being held captive by Hamas.
Prior to the Oct. 7 attack, Tucker was already focused on using her platform to spread awareness of both Holocaust education and antisemitism. During an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show last March, Tucker explained that her activism was the result of being the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, and in particular that she wanted to honor her grandfather, who had passed away more than three years prior.
“He used to wear a pin all the time that said ‘Never forget, never again, I’m a survivor,'” she told Clarkson. “So now this is my turn to make sure people never forget.”
