Monster trucks will take over the fairgrounds Saturday for two shows which will include interactive opportunities, clashes between “giant superstars” of the monster truck world and power wheel competitions for kids.

According to the event description, the show will feature nationally known trucks including Outlaw, Equalizer, the new Shark Attack and Arizona’s Sheriff. Quad team racing will pit Team New Mexico against Team Texas and the “Clash of the Titans” will feature Outlaw and Shark Attack going head-to-head.

Children aged 3 to 9 can bring their own power wheel and participate in races around the track, while others can experience riding in a monster truck with Monster Truck Wars’ Sergeant Smash Monster Truck Ride.

Ahead of the show, meet the experts during the Pit Party and see the trucks up close before they head into battle. A Kid’s Fun Zone will also include a bounce house before the show.

The matinee performance is at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, but doors open at 11 a.m. The pre-show begins at 11:30 a.m. The second show begins at 6 p.m. with gates opening at 4 p.m. Pre-show begins at 4:30 p.m.
