A young mom was killed and her toddler son hurt after the boy’s dad got into a drunken head-on crash in Queens, police said Sunday

Maria Fernanda, 22, and her 3-year-old son were riding in the backseat of a 1997 Toyota Corolla when driver Daniel Aguirre slammed into a 2014 Toyota Camry in Kew Gardens about 11:05 p.m. Saturday, cops said.

Aguirre, 21, who cops say was drunk, was going west on Park Lane South when he veered into oncoming traffic near Mayfair Road and struck the eastbound Camry.

ABC7 reports Aguirre is the boy’s father and that the mother wasn’t wearing a seatbelt when Aguirre crashed.

Aguirre, Fernanda and their son were all trapped in the crushed Corrolla when first responders arrived and had to be extricated.

EMS rushed Fernanda to Jamaica Hospital, where she died. She and Aguirre lived together in Stamford, Conn., according to cops.

The little boy and his dad were taken to Long Island Jewish Medical Center in stable condition.

Aguirre was charged with vehicular manslaughter, aggravated DWI and drunk driving.

The 44-year-old man driving the Camry was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition.
