Molly Ringwald is reflecting on her most famous film looks!

When asked what looks from her past she wishes she still owned, the actress, 55, didn't hold back. "Oh my God, everything," she says to PEOPLE at the New York City Ballet’s 2023 Fall Gala.

"I mean, I really wish that I had my costume from The Breakfast Club, but I had to wear it every day for like three months so I never wanted to see it again." Ringwald adds. "That and I wish that I had my prom dress from Pretty in Pink."

"I used to have a lot of stuff but I’ve moved around so much during the years that, you know, who knows," she admits. "I’m sure it’ll show up on Etsy somewhere, or First Dibs."

In February 2017, the star opened up to Teen Vogue about the iconic polka dot, halter neck pink prom dress worn by her character Andie in Pretty in Pink. The look, which was created by costume designer Marilyn Vance, was inspired by Ringwald's personal style. But she revealed to the outlet that she wasn't too happy when she first saw it.

"I don’t know if I was swayed by Marilyn’s passion when she talked me through the sketches, or distracted by the algebra final I was preparing to take in my trailer in between scenes, but whatever the reason, I signed off on the design."

She added, "Weeks later, when I saw the dress for the first time, I burst into tears. The only thing I liked, and even vaguely remembered from the consultation, was the halter neckline. The puffy sleeves and inverted-triangle, sacklike silhouette confounded me, but it was too late to change it."

Away from the costume department, in April the actress revealed to U.K. newspaper The Guardian that she had decided to pass on the leading role of Vivian in the iconic '90s film Pretty Woman that was famously played by Julia Roberts.

"Julia Roberts was wonderful, but I didn't really like the story," Ringwald told the outlet. "Even then, I felt like there was something icky about it."

Ringwald also shared that she had missed out on or passed on a few other big parts throughout her lengthy career, including The Silence of the Lambs and Working Girl.
