Molly Ringwald just went from front row regular to stellar catwalk queen.

Whenever the Sixteen Candles star, 55, touches down in New York for Fashion Week, she always makes a statement, and this time it hearkened back to her time as an '80s icon!

On Tuesday, the Golden Globe nominee, who currently stars in Feud: Capote vs. The Swans, walked the Batsheva show in a cast including models over the age of 40, including River's Edge actress Ione Skye. The label wanted to spotlight one’s unique experience with aging.

Ringwald wore two different outfits on the runway. Her all-purple dress gave total '80s vibes with its exaggerated shoulders, matching belt and below-the-knee length. The second, all-black was more modern, with a unique head-covering and a black hand warmer.

Ringwald’s glam matched the mood of the collection, which is inspired by femininity translated through designs with historical references, but crafted with modern fabrics and color.

Behind the scenes, makeup artist Vincent Oquendo used his go-to Laura Geller Beauty products for the models' rosy makeup. He prepped the skin with a moisturizing primer before applying the creamy Baked Blush-n-Brighten blush in coral and pink hues. He created a blended winged eyeliner and a taupe eyeshadow look and then used the Modern Classic Matte Lipstick in a warm beige shade to tie all the elements together.

Before taking center stage at Batsheva, Ringwald attended Helmut Lang’s show in Brooklyn, N.Y., dressed in a chic black tailored suit accented with honey yellow stripes on the pants that matched her button-up. She even wore shades indoors, upping the cool factor of her look.

Ringwald has some pretty memorable looks from her iconic films as well, some of which she wishes were still in her possession.

While speaking with PEOPLE at the New York City Ballet’s 2023 Fall Gala on Oct. 5, where she stunned in a silky teal gown, Ringwald said she wishes she still had her clothes from The Breakfast Club and her prom dress from Pretty in Pink.

The dress she was referring to is the polka-dot halter-neck top created by costume designer Marilyn Vance for the 1986 rom-com. Its look was based on Ringwald’s personal style, but she admitted in a 2017 Teen Vogue interview that she wasn’t fond of the number at first.

At the gala, Ringwald further told PEOPLE that she “used to have a lot of stuff,” which may have gotten displaced over the years as she’s “moved around.” She joked, "I’m sure it’ll show up on Etsy somewhere, or First Dibs."
