Molly Gordon Rounds Out ‘Animal Kingdom’ Cast; ‘Orange Is The New Black’ Adds 3 Recurring

TNT has rounded out the cast of drama pilot Animal Kingdom, adding Molly Gordon (Orange Is The New Black) as a regular. The pilot from John Wells Prods. in association with Warner Horizon Television, centers on 17-year-old Joshua “J” Cody (Finn Cole), who moves in with his wild, freewheeling grandmother (Ellen Barkin) and uncles in their Southern California beach town after his mother ODs. He is pulled into their life of indulgence and excess and soon discovers that it’s all being funded by the bank robberies they commit. Gordon, repped by the Burstein Company and Paradigm, will play J’s steady girlfriend Nikky, a young woman in full-scale rebellion against her bourgeois upbringing. She likes the fact that J drives the rest of her middle-class family crazy.

being kept under wraps. Henke, repped by Paradigm and Wright Entertainment, recently wrapped Netflix original movie Pee-wee’s Big Holiday. His other recent credits include the features Fury and Draft Day. Houston, repped by Hartig/Hilepo Agency and Byron Beane at Paper Plane Entertainment, recurred on Inside Amy Schumer and Starz’s Flesh & Bone. Stewart Talent-repped Karbacz’s credits include feature Get Smart and series Do No Harm and Law & Order: SVU.
