Model and reality television star Melyssa Ford has suffered a fractured skull after getting into an accident with an 18-wheeler.

According to an Instagram post Friday (June 29) from close friend Maryam Iman, Ford’s Jeep flipped three times after a collision with the truck. Iman did not state what day, where or time the accident took place. However, the 41-year-old is reportedly alive because she wore her seatbelt. She still has serious injuries.

Ford has a concussion, experienced bleeding from her brain and also has a 10 inch open wound that had to be closed with staples and stitches.

There is no word on the driver or if he or she was questioned by authorities. Ford rose to fame in the late 90s and early 2000s as one of hip-hop’s most sought after video girls. Yet, despite her beauty and body, Ford also has also earned her degree in Forensic Psychology.

The Canada native was afeatured on Bravo’s short lived reality show Blood Sweat and Heals, which followed five New York women as they navigated life, love and career.

Wishing you a speedy recovery Melyssa.
