Mobile’s Red Clay Strays to perform on The Tonight Show

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Mobile-based band, The Red Clay Strays, announced Monday they will be performing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

According to the band’s Facebook page, they will be performing on The Tonight Show on Thursday night.

The band previously announced they will be opening for The Rolling Stones on May 30 at Gillette Stadium.

The five-man band started in Mobile and has been touring with big-name artists including Elle King, Dierks Bentley and Eric Church.

They have opened for Kip Moore, Nikki Lane, Old Crow Medicine Show and Brothers Osborne.

The band also performed at the Grand Ole Opry, which according to their website, was a “lifelong dream.”
