"Simpsons" fans can find a bit of heaven in Akron.

The traveling pop-up bar inspired by the popular animated TV show is making its first Ohio appearance in the Rubber City.

Moe's Springfield Pop Up Bar opened in Akron on Friday and will be slinging "Simpsons"-inspired drinks and food through Jan. 28.

The traveling bar launched in 2020 and has visited Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts. It plans to set up shop in another Ohio city after Akron.

Where is Moe's Pop Up Bar in Akron?

JMC Pop Ups, which produces the traveling bar with props to make it look like Moe's Tavern from the show, has set up shop in Missing Falls Brewery, located at 540 South Main St.

Missing Falls has created a special "Simpsons"-themed menu.

The menu items − complete with descriptions − include:

  • Do We Serve French Fries? We may be losing your transmission so MAYDAY! We are giving you a heaping plate of french fries. Served with a choice of dipping sauces.

  • You Don't Win Friends with Salad. Garden Salad with onion, tomato, black olives, and croutons.

  • Cletus' Chicken Thumbs. Okay, so maybe they're long thumbs. Not judging. Two fried chicken tenders with choice of dipping sauce. Served with a side order of fries.

  • Krusty Burger 95% Spit Free! (on a good day.) Two smashed patties topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles and a special sauce.

  • Beyond Krusty Burger. Because Lisa won't eat the Krusty Burger so we had to add it. Beyond burger served with all of the toppings of a Krusty Burger. Not Level 5 approved.

  • Yesterday's Pizza. Pepperoni pizza kept warm on the trunk of Homer's car. Really. We made it yesterday.

  • The Klogger. Can you handle it? Package comes with a commemorative tee, sticker, towel to mop up the juices, and a bottle of water. 1 pound of beef, six slices of cheese, six slices of ham, six slices of bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion served on a bun with a large side of fries. Please leave your cardiologist number at the door.

How do I visit Moe's Pop Up Bar in Akron?

Unlike Homer Simpson, you can't just stroll into Moe's Pop Up Bar.

The themed bar is a timed, ticketed venue.

Ticket prices vary depending on the packages selected. Tickets at the current stop range from $23 to $79.

Moe's Springfield Pop-Up Bar coming to southern Ohio

The next stop for the pop-up bar will be in Loveland − near Cincinnati.

The bar will set up shop inside of the Hops and Berry Taproom, 118 South Karl Brown Way, from Feb. 14 to 25.

Who is Moe from 'The Simpsons'?

Moammar "Moe" Szyslak is a recurring character on "The Simpsons."

He first appeared on the show's premiere episode, "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire" in 1989.

When he's not getting prank phone calls from Bart, Moe is typically behind the bar slinging Duff Beer.

The character is voiced by Hank Azaria.
