MLW One-Shot Results – December 7, 2023

MLW One-Shot kicks off with MSL in the ring with a microphone. MSL welcomes everyone to the World Titan Federation. MSL introduces Alyssa Wray from American Idol to sing the national anthem.

Rocky Romero (w/ Salina de la Renta) defeated Mascara Dorada to retain the CMLL World Historic Welterweight Title and the MLW World Middleweight Championship

  • Rocky Romero ripped off Mascara Dorada’s mask and used that distraction to roll him up in a small package to secure the pinfall victory.

An advertisement plays for the WTF Hotline, a clear mockery of the hotlines that WWE and WCW used to have in the 80s and 90s.

Miyu Yamashita defeated Delmi Exo to retain the TJPW Princess of Princess Championship

  • Miyu Yamashita hit Delmi Exo with a skull kick to score the win via pinfall.

Zayda Steel is backstage and claims she’s been awarded as 2023’s most downloaded celebrity. Zayda says she wants a shot at the MLW World Women’s Featherweight Championship.

Satoshi Kojima defeated “Filthy” Tom Lawlor (w/ MSL)

  • Satoshi Kojima hit Tom Lawlor with a big lariat to score the pinfall victory.

The crowd threw bread into the ring after the match, and Kojima ate some of it. Satoshi Kojima says thank you to the crowd and said he was back in Major League Wrestling after 20 years. He asks the crowd if they remember him, and they respond in kind. A very cool moment for Kojima.

A video package plays hyping tonight’s main event between Alex Kane and Matt Cardona.

MSL and Zayda Steel host a Bodies by Saint Laurent Bodybuilding Contest. It featured Midas Black, Mr. Thomas, and Alex Hammerstone. Hammerstone won. The less said about this, the better.

Jacob Fatu arrives to end a bad segment on MLW One-Shot

Alex Hammerstone runs down Jacob Fatu on the microphone. This brings out Fatu, who beats up Hammerstone and throws him out of the ring. Fatu destroys the trophy as Hammerstone watches on from the aisleway.

Rickey Shane Page defeated Jimmy Lloyd to retain the MLW National Openweight Championship

  • AKIRA attacked Rickey Shane Page before the match. None of that mattered as Page hits Jimmy Lloyd with a Raven Effect DDT into a door to retain his title via pinfall.

Janai Kai (w/ Salina de la Renta) defeated Maki Itoh to retain the MLW Women’s World Featherweight Championship

  • Janai Kai locks Maki Itoh in the Demon Clutch to win the match via submission.

MSL joins the commentary team before the main event.

Alex Kane (w/ Mr. Thomas) defeated Matt Cardona (w/ Steph De Lander) to retain the MLW World Heavyweight Championship

  • Alex Kane locks Matt Cardona in Fade to Black to retain his title via submission.

Alex Kane has the Bomaye Fight Club carry Matt Cardona out of the building. Kane goes to talk to the crowd, but the lights go out. The lights come back on, and Richard Holliday is in the ring. MSL comes out and signs Holliday to WTF and sets up a world title match between the two men at Kings of Colosseum as MLW One-Shot goes off the air.
