MLW Intimidation Games Results – February 29, 2024

Tonight’s MLW Intimidation Games special kicks off with a highlight package of all of the feuds built for tonight’s event.

Mistico (w/ Cesar Duran) defeated Rocky Romero (w/ Salina de la Renta) to win the MLW World Middleweight Championship

  • Mistico locks Rocky Romero in La Mística to win the championship via submission.

Cesar Duran celebrates with Mistico in the ring as Salina de la Renta throws a fit at ringside. Mistico and Duran offer Romero an immediate rematch. Romero considers it but turns it down and leaves.

Sami Callihan and MLW National Openweight Champion Rickey Shane Page defeated AKIRA and Jake Crist in a New York City Street Fight

  • Sami Callihan kicked Jake Crist in the dick. This led to Rickey Shane Page getting him in a backslide to score the pinfall victory.

Page and Callihan continued their assault after the match until Jimmy Llyod hit the ring following the match to give AKIRA and Jake Crist the numbers advantage, and they all put a beatdown on The Calling.

Raven appears on the Tron and says since Rickey Shane Page stole the name of The Calling from him, their new faction is called The Response. Raven says a war is coming, and it won’t be civil.

MSL is in the bathroom with Tom Lawlor and Davey Boy Smith Jr. while he’s taking a leak. MSL says he has big things planned for when they win the MLW World Tag Team Titles later on tonight from the Second Gear Crew.

Alex Kane (w/ Mr. Thomas) defeated Bobby Fish

  • Alex Kane locks Bobby Fish in a rear-naked choke. Fish passes out, which gives Kane the submission victory.

AJ Francis appears at MLW Intimidation Games

AJ Francis comes out on the stage and runs down Alex Kane’s use of Bomaye and claims the fans don’t even know that it came from Muhammad Ali. The crowd chants “bottom dollar” at AJ Francis, who responds that they all paid top dollar to see him.

Alex Kane says the only person in the building that’s a bum is him. Francis teases that some within The Bomaye Fight Club aren’t as loyal to Kane as he thinks they are.

Tom Lawlor and Davey Boy Smith Jr. (w/ MSL) defeated The Second Gear Crew to win the MLW World Tag Team Titles

  • Davey Boy Smith Jr. hit 1 Called Manders with MSL’s helmet, which allowed Tom Lawlor to roll him up for the three count.

Matt Riddle defeated Bad Boy Tito to retain the NJPW Television Championship

  • Matt Riddle hits Bad Boy Tito with the Bro-Stone to score the pinfall victory.

MLW Women’s World Featherweight Champion Janai Kai hosts a five-minute $5000 challenge. It’s answered by Zoey Cannon. It ended in less than 15 seconds.

Satoshi Kojima defeated Minoru Suzuki to retain the MLW World Heavyweight Championship

  • Satoshi Kojima hit Minoru Suzuki with multiple Lariatos to secure the pinfall victory.

Kojima celebrates his successful title defense as MLW Intimidation Games goes off the air.
