MLK Day storm set daily snowfall record in Vermont. What are the biggest storms on record?

The recent storm during Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend may have set a record for snowfall on that specific day, but it doesn't even come close to Vermont's top snow storm totals.

The National Weather Service in Burlington reported that its headquarters — the Burlington International Airport — saw 8.1 inches of snow on January 17. This was a new snowfall record for the specific date, the service noted in a Twitter post.

When looking at Vermont's top snowfall totals in general, however, the recent storm doesn't even break the top 20. Another January snowstorm is at the top of the list.
