Two Japanese comedians join the MIX season 2 cast. Recent reports have confirmed the news.

Who are MIX season 2’s new voice cast members?

OLM Team Masuda, the studio production of MIX, has confirmed the inclusion of Hiroyuki Takagishi and Yuta Maeda in the voice cast. The second season already premiered in April of this year.

Takagishi and Maeda’s comedian duo name is Timon D. They are going to play themselves in the series. Their characters are going to appear in episodes 19 and 20 of the second season. Their release dates are August 12 and 19, respectively.

The second season takes place in the summer after the first year of high school. It started on April 1 this year. The returning cast includes Yuuki Kaji as Tōma Tachibana, Yūma Uchida as Sōichirō Tachibana, Maaya Uchida as Otomi Tachibana, and Kana Hanazawa as Haruka Ōyama.

What is MIX season 2 about?

The stepbrothers Touma and Souichirou Tachibana are the center of the story. They are high schoolers that love baseball and start to learn about their heritage with the sport. Their school only reached the national championship once, and that was thirty years ago. Of course, they are going to face a lot of challenges along the way.

The series is also a sequel to the 80s hit manga Touch, which is about baseball as well.

The manga came out in May of 2012 and has 20 volumes as of this writing. The anime started in 2019 and has had forty episodes so far.

The second season has covered the events after the first year of high school’s summer and the new challenges that the stepbrothers are facing.

MIX season 2 has had 16 episodes as of this writing. It will air 24 episodes.
