Mitski will play a handful of North American shows this month to mark the release of her new album, The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, out Sept. 15.

The singer-songwriter has announced four “Amateur Mistake” shows, starting Sept. 11 at the Teatro de la Ciudad in Mexico City. She’ll then play the Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles on Sept. 20, Town Hall in New York City on Sept. 26, and Trinity Church in Toronto on Sept. 29. (A run of previously-announced shows in the U.K. and Europe will follow in October.)

The “Amateur Mistake” shows will find Mitski playing a solo acoustic set. She’ll be joined in Mexico City by Joaquina Mertz, while Shana Cleveland will open in Los Angeles, and Mary Lattimore will provide support in NYC and Toronto.

Tickets for the Mexico City show are on sale now; for the L.A., NYC, and Toronto concerts, fans can currently sign up for a lottery ticketing process. Registration will end Sept. 10 at 11:59 p.m. ET, and invites will start going out Sept. 13. Any remaining tickets will be made available on Sept. 18. Full info is available on Mitski’s website.

The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We marks Mitski’s seventh album, following last year’s Laurel Hell. She’s released a handful of tracks so far, including “Star,” “Heaven,” and “But Like an Angel.” Mitski made the new album with longtime producer Patrick Hyland, recording at Nashville’s Bomb Shelter and Los Angeles’ Sunset Sound.

Along with the upcoming acoustic shows, Mitski will host a handful of special listening parties. During the “music and film double features,” select fans will get a chance to hear the new album and also watch a movie, like La Strada, Days of Heaven, Desert Hearts, and Drugstore Cowboy.
