The "Mister Rogers" Google Doodle is the nostalgia we need right now

The internet can be an exhausting place. And this week, between the evolving Brett Kavanaugh debacle and the destruction of Hurricane Florence - Google gave people a glimmer of hope on Friday. This morning, visitors to Google noticed a unique doodle of Mister Rogers. Clicking through plays a stop-motion tribute to the beloved children’s show host set to his iconic song “Won’t You Be My Neighbor.” The doodle is celebrating the 51st anniversary of the very first episode of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, which taped on September 21, 1967.
