Mississippi Comic Con returns to Jackson: See the headliners

Mississippi Comic Con is back featuring popular guests from famous movies, television, anime, video games, cartoons and more.

There will also be a line-up of things for the public to participate in such as Q&As, panels, costume contests, photo ops, gaming tournaments and more.

A number of tents will be set up for people hoping to leave with a souvenir.

Christopher Lloyd

Christopher Lloyd is best known for playing Doc Brown in the Back to the Future trilogy, Uncle Fester in The Addams Family films, and Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Lloyd, 84, has been on the scene for decades, starring in Taxi as the iconic driver Jim Ignatowski. He continues to be hard at work with 10 projects in production.

Lloyd has also won three Primetime Emmy Awards and an Independent Spirit Award and has been nominated for two Saturn Awards and a Daytime Emmy Award.

Sean Astin 

An American film actor, director, and producer, Sean Astin is best known for his film roles as Mikey Walsh in The Goonies, the title character in Rudy, and Samwise Gamgee in the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Hollywood royalty, Astin is the son of actress Patty Duke and the step-son of Addams Family star John Astin.

Scott Innes 

You may not know his face, but you probably know his voice. Scott Innes best known for his voice over work in various Warner Bros. and Hanna-Barbera animated films, television shows, video games and commercials, most popular as Scooby-Doo, Shaggy Rogers, Scrappy-Doo, Popeye the Sailor, Fred Flintstone, Barney Rubble and more.

Walter Jones is known as the original "Black Power Ranger" in the Power Rangers series and was the very first actor to do voicework for any character on a Power Rangers show.

  • Admission: $20-$50, Kids 10 and under get in free.

  • Times: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
