Missing Teenager’s Aunt Claims Feuding Parents Have ‘Lost Focus’ On Finding Their Daughter

Sixteen-year-old Darbi disappeared from her mother, Janice’s home in October 2016 – the second time inside a year she’d gone missing.

x Darbi’s aunt, Camille, says when Darbi was 15 she ran away from home and wound up being victimized when she got caught up in sex trafficking. The man accused was arrested, and Darbi returned home.

Now Darbi is missing again, and Camille says she’s desperate to find her niece. “I really fear that she could be involved in sex trafficking again. I really hope that she’s not.”

Camille claims her sister, Janice, and Darbi’s father, Wayne, aren’t coordinating efforts to look for their daughter. “They’re so busy hating each other that they’ve completely lost focus.”

Wayne says he shouldn’t have had to find out via social media and a group text that Darbi was missing. Janice admits she didn’t call Wayne when their daughter disappeared for a second time because she claims he hasn’t been involved in parenting her.

Will this former couple put aside their differences and come together to help find their daughter? Part one of this two-part Dr. Phil airs Wednesday. Click here to find out where you can watch.
