Bring on the laugh tracks and country sass; the "Queen of Country" Reba McEntire is returning to the comedy television world.

McEntire is set to executive produce and star in a new, untitled comedy series with NBC. McEntire will be working with former "Reba"showrunner Kevin Abbott, who will write the script for the upcoming project.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the series will revolve around Reba, who inherits her father’s restaurant. Much to her chagrin, she learns she has a new business partner: a half-sister she didn't know she had.

The comedy series has earned a pilot order from NBC, the first one of the 2024 season. McEntire has worked with network NBC before, featured on NBC's "The Voice" as a vocal coach last year.

No stranger to the screen, McEntire has appeared in "Big Sky," "Young Sheldon" and "The Hammer."

Most notably, she also starred in sitcom "Reba" from 2001 to 2007—a comedy series that centered around her character Reba Hart's recent divorce, ex-husband and their kids. For the upcoming show, McEntire will also be reuniting with "Reba"executive producers Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis, and will be working with Julie Abbott.

Kevin Abbott, who worked as "Reba" showrunner for five years, also wrote for "Last Man Standing," "Roseanne," "The Golden Girls" and worked alongside McEntire again on 2012 ABC comedy "Malibu Country."

No additional casting has been announced for the upcoming series.
