What you missed while you were sleeping: Someone stop Norway, Rippon is back, Japan sets short track record

If you’ve been watching the 2018 Winter Olympics, you have essentially been tuning into a celebration of Norwegian athleticism.

Norway is now at 25 medals, nine of which are gold, which puts it eight ahead of second-place Germany and 15 ahead of the United States. Granted, this is nothing new; the Norwegians have now taken home 329 medals, 118 of which are gold, both of which are more than any other country in Winter Olympics history.

Dan Wetzel thinks it’s time somebody does something about this epidemic.
