Miss Saline County Sophe Sligh adds heart to her music

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Miss Saline County Sophe Sligh is in her fourth year of competition and takes her music to heart.

Sligh stopped by KARK 4 News to talk about her community service initiative Live Smart for a Healthy Start, which focuses on cardiovascular health and lifestyle changes toward better heart health.

In addition to competing in Miss Arkansas, Sligh has also been a violinist for 20 years, which she will also showcase as her talent during the competition.

Sligh will be part of the excitement on the Miss Arkansas Pageant coming up on Saturday, June 15, and airing on KARK. For more information on the competition, visit MissArkansas.org.

Entertainment giant Live Nation has confirmed its ticketing subsidiary Ticketmaster has been hacked. Live Nation confirmed the data breach in a filing with government regulators late on Friday after the markets closed. In its statement, Live Nation said the breach occurred on May 20, and that a cybercriminal "offered what it alleged to be Company user data for sale via the dark web."
