Miss Greater Jacksonville Kensley Flynn pushes for literacy in Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Miss Greater Jacksonville Kensley Flynn enjoys challenging herself, and others, to become proficient readers.

The avid reader told KARK 4 News she has a community service initiative with a focus on literacy called Read to Succeed, which she said the goal is to help both kids and adults who have fallen behind in their pursuit of reading.

Flynn said she is in her third year of competition and finds it to be rich in opportunity. She also said she loves both finding role models in life and being a role model to others.

Flynn will be part of the excitement on the Miss Arkansas Pageant coming up on Saturday, June 15, and airing on KARK. For more information on the competition, visit MissArkansas.org.
