Miss Grand Prairie Marissa Owen looks to make a splash in Miss Arkansas competition

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Miss Grand Prairie Marissa Owen is looking to make a splash in the 2024 Miss Arkansas competition.

The first-year competitor stopped by KARK 4 News to share her experience as a youth competitive swimmer who twice competed in the Junior Olympics.

Her passion for all things aquatic can still be seen in her community service effort, Making Waves for Safe Swimming, as well as in her talent performance, a lyrical dance to Avril Lavigne’s “Head Above Water.”
