Cue the couple drama! On Sunday, Miranda Lambert made her red carpet debut with her new boyfriend, Anderson East, at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Lambert, 32, stunned in a lemon yellow gown with a plunging neckline and thigh-high slit that showcased her tanned gams. Meanwhile, 27-year-old East kept it simple in a suit and boots.

The pair looked very much in love as East slid his arm around Lambert’s back for their photos and she snuggled up beside him.

But not everyone was as lucky as these two tonight — specifically, Lambert’s ex, Blake Shelton, who found himself solo for the affair. Shelton is currently dating fellow Voice coach Gwen Stefani, who was unable to attend the ACM Awards in Las Vegas due to work commitments in New York City. The 46-year-old mother of three performed on Saturday Night Live this weekend and is booked bright and early on Good Morning America Monday so a trip back to the West Coast just wasn’t in the cards.

Shelton, 39, still managed to keep himself busy, though, as he performed one of the first numbers of the night. It’s probably worth noting he chose to sing, “Came Here to Forget,” which happens to be about his split from Lambert. The couple called it quits in July 2015 after four years of marriage.

“Girl getting over him, and I’m getting over her,” he crooned into the mic. “Misery loves company, that’s why it’s you and me, buying each other drinks.” (Hmm. Hopefully Shelton and Stefani’s romance has moved beyond a joint pity party, though we’re pretty sure it has. In case you haven’t heard, the two bonded and started dating because they were both dealing with breakups at the same time. Stefani split with her husband of 13 years, Gavin Rossdale, in August 2015.)

On stage, Shelton didn’t seem bothered by his solo status for the night, giving a great performance that the crowd loved — though there was no televised reaction from Miranda, sadly.

And while this was the first time that Lambert and East posed on the carpet together, it was hardly the first time they’d appeared in public as a twosome. On Valentine’s Day, Lambert hopped on stage and performed alongside her beau at the Pearl Street Nightclub in Northampton, Massachusetts. They sang the 1995 Mariah Carey hit, “Always Be My Baby.”

Lambert even shared a photo from the night gushing, “‘Boy don’t you know you can’t escape me, ooh darling cause you’ll always be my baby.’ I got to spend heart day with great people playing great music. Thanks @andersoneast and your sweet band for letting me and @gwensebastian sing some Mariah with y'all! #beerandmicrophones #valentines #massachusettsisfreezing #werewiththeband.”

East reportedly planted a kiss on her cheek when the music ended and said, “I think you all can see what I got for Valentine’s Day.”

It seems like that gift has kept on giving.
