Miranda Lambert 'dumped a salad' in a woman's lap during restaurant spat: Report

Miranda Lambert reportedly threw a salad at a woman during a fight at a restaurant — and the internet is all lettuce jokes.

According to TMZ, the country singer, 35, was dining with her mom and a family friend at Stoney River Steakhouse in Nashville on Sunday. While in the men’s restroom, an older man, who was a patron of the restaurant with his wife, allegedly made a comment to Miranda’s friend — something about millennials and their phones.

Once out of the bathroom, the dispute continued and escalated. Eyewitnesses told the website, Lambert had to be held back when the man came to their table screaming. At one point, she walked over the man’s table and exchanged words with his wife, during which Lambert “dumped a salad in [the woman’s] lap.”

Police were called about two men fighting, but Lambert and company were gone when they arrived. TMZ reports that a police report was not filed.

A rep for Lambert tells Yahoo there’s no comment. We have also reached out to the Nashville Police media spokesperson as well as the restaurant manager.

Needless to say, Lambert’s tossing lettuce has gotten some attention. The internet is all jokes.

Lambert climbed the charts both solo and with the Pistol Annies, singing songs like “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” which had a line about, “If he wants a fight, well, now he’s got one / And he ain’t seen me crazy yet.” She has won two Grammys.

Last year, Lambert, the ex-wife of Blake Shelton, made headlines for her relationship with Turnpike Troubadours frontman Evan Felker. Soon after they met, she broke up with boyfriend Anderson East and started dating Felker. Nobody seemed more surprised than Felker’s estranged wife. However, by summer their romance was over with People reporting that Felker broke one of the singer’s rules.

In August, Lambert said she was thankful for her “roller-coaster” love life because all the “ups and downs” have led to some “really good songs.” Perhaps this alleged salad throwing spat will eventually be music material as well.
