Miranda Kerr believes in watching her kids blossom while lending support along the way.

The soon-to-be mom of four, 40, discussed her approach to parenting while appearing on Bumpsuit's The Village podcast.

“From the moment that they’re born, they have their own little soul. And sometimes we think, is it conditioning, or is it who they are? It’s obviously a combination of both, but they do have their own [personality]," she shared.

"My two little ones that are raised in the exact same environment are very different individuals. And they were from the moment they were born."

Kerr is mom to sons Myles, 4, and Hart, 5, with husband Evan Spiegel as well as son Flynn, 13, with ex-husband Orlando Bloom. The model and Spiegel are currently expecting another baby boy.

“It’s beautiful to help them be who they’re meant to be. Give them the nurturing to be who they want to be and [are] meant to be, and not project onto them who you might want them to be," she continued. "It’s really who they are that you’re nurturing, and really encourage their own spiritual journey and uniqueness within that."

Kerr recalled a lesson passed on by her own mom: "Shine your light in this world and don’t be afraid to walk in the way that you want to walk. Always be true to yourself, follow your intuition."

She said, "Another thing my mom taught me is whatever you’re doing, give it 100%. For me, that is whether I’m changing a diaper or washing the dishes, or doing my PNL or developing a product. Always give your all."

As this pregnancy winds down, Kerr has also made it a point to take some more me-time as she prepares for her family to grow.

"I’ve also been investing extra time in myself this pregnancy, particularly in this last trimester. Taking a little extra time for myself each morning before the boys wake to sit quietly and meditate — usually with my Noni Glow Sleeping Mask on to make up for the lack of beauty sleep — take a bath or do whatever it is that my body is telling me it needs," Kerr shared.

"Taking time for yourself, listening to your body, and prioritizing self-care is important to feel your best so you can give the best of yourself to others.”

In her partnership with Bumpsuit, not only will the model mom be the face of the brand's new campaign, but she's also curated exclusive pregnancy kits, available today, featuring Bumpsuit’s iconic catsuit —a full-body leotard designed to meet your body through pregnancy and postpartum, which is at the heart of the maternity uniform evolution — as well as their new Armadillo Baby Carrier and Kora Organics body oil.
