Minnesota uses T-shirt cannon to surprise walk-on with scholarship (Video)
We’re a sucker here at Dr. Saturday for walk-ons earning scholarships. And this video from Minnesota is worth your time.
Kicker Justin Juenemann was awarded a scholarship in a team meeting, though it took a moment for him to realize what happened.
Minnesota coach P.J. Fleck brought in Kyle, a teenager who Juenemann has spent time with at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. Kyle shot a shirt revealing the scholarship at Juenemann, who made a nice play. But he didn’t take time to look at the shirt at first.
The "Row The Boat" Culture is all about serving & giving!! Congrats to @JustinJuenemann on EARNING his scholarship!! https://t.co/fguiiyt5tY

Well done, Minnesota. Juenemann will be a redshirt senior in the fall.
