Mindy Project's Ed Weeks Boards Fox's Airline Comedy Pilot LA –> Vegas
Fresh off the news that The Mindy Project is coming to an end, Ed Weeks has landed a series-regular role on Fox’s high-flying comedy pilot LA –> Vegas, TVLine has learned.
The Will Ferrell- and Adam McKay-produced single-camera ensemble workplace series follows a group of underdogs trying to find their place in the world. It is set on the Friday night flight from LAX to Vegas and the returning flight on Sunday.

Weeks will play Micah, a regular on the flight between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The cast also includes The Practice’s Dylan McDermott as Captain Dave, the pilot of Flight 1710, and UnReal‘s Kim Matula as the head flight attendant.
Should LA –> Vegas get ordered to series, Weeks will be able to juggle his new gig with Mindy Project‘s sixth and final season.
