Mina Starsiak Hawk Posts Sweet Birthday Tribute to Her 'Ride or Die Partner' Steve Hawk

The 'Good Bones' star's husband, Steve, turned 42 on Nov. 2

Mina Starsiak Hawk may seem intense on TV, but she recently showed her soft side with an endearing birthday tribute on Instagram for her husband.

Mina, 35, of HGTV's Good Bones took to the social media platform on Thursday, Nov. 2 with adorable photos and a sweet caption for Steve Hawk, 42.

The post included several snaps of Steve posing with their two kids, Jack, 5, and Charlotte, 3.

One showed Steve snuggling with Charlotte, while another snap was taken on an adventure with Jack.

She also included a heart-melting photo, featuring the four of them smiling at the camera together.

The caption of her post reads: "It’s this man’s 42 Birthday today 🤍 Happy Birthday to one of the strongest men, most amazing dads and ride or die partner I’m lucky enough to call my own! Let’s show him some love today y’all! 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼"

Good Bones ran for eight seasons until it ended last month. The couple met on social media back in 2013, and were engaged two years later. They officially tied the knot in 2016.

After having their eldest son Jack, the two were struggling to get pregnant again. And after several failed attempts to conceive their second child, Mina and Steve realized they might need to take other measures.

Mina opened up about their experience with in vitro fertilization via PEOPLE in 2020. And after a few tries, they were successful. With Mina pregnant a second time, she and Steve were beyond emotional.

"When I told [Steve] I was pregnant with Jack, he just started crying. When I told him I was pregnant this time, it was shock," she recalled. “There were so many happy tears. We are incredibly lucky."
