Milton superstar Jimmie Allen and Alexis Gale announce birth of third child

It's an exciting time for Milton native and country star Jimmie Allen, as he and wife Alexis Gale announce the birth of their third child.

Alexis Gale posted photos of their newborn, Cohen Ace James, on Instagram on Tuesday. According to the Instagram chatter, the baby was born on Wednesday, Sept. 27.

The photos show Cohen Ace James swaddled in blankets and being cuddled. She also shared images of the couple's daughters Naomi Bettie, 3, and Zara James, 11 months, holding the baby.

Allen and Gale's announced that they were separating and also expecting a third child in April.

The "Down Home" singer told People in July that he and Gale were working on their relationship while their divorce case remains pending. He also discussed his ongoing legal trouble.

Allen is countersuing two women who have filed lawsuits against him for sexual assault.

The country star announced this summer that he's performing a celebrity benefit concert titled “Salute to American Heroes” to honor veterans in Florida on Nov. 4. No charges have been filed.

Here's a timeline of events that occurred before and after the first lawsuit was filed against Allen in May.

"My father served in our military and saw combat battle,” Allen wrote on Instagram. “It’s always an honor [to] give back to the brave souls that protect our country."

This announcement came two days after the “Down Home” singer said he’s launching his invite-only comedy tour titled “I Said What I Said” in October  — despite two sexual assault lawsuits still looming over him.
