Milo Ventimiglia Is 'Grateful' for Wife Jarah Mariano, Who Inspires Him 'in a Way Different Than Anybody Else'

Milo Ventimiglia is relishing in the perks of being married to wife Jarah Mariano!

Giving an update on how married life is going thus far, the former This Is Us star told Extra that he is "happy."

"Things are good," he continued. "We've had relationships that have come and have gone and then you get to a point where you kind of meet your match and meet someone that inspires you in a way different than anybody else.”

Ventimiglia, 46, added, "I'm grateful for her and I’m happy to have arrived in this moment, so married life is nice."

PEOPLE confirmed in October 2023 that Ventimiglia quietly wed Mariano earlier this year. At the time, Us Weekly was the first to report the news, noting that the twosome exchanged vows in a private ceremony attended by family and close friends.

The couple first sparked dating rumors in 2022 but have mostly managed to keep their relationship private.

In acknowledging his marriage during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live later that month, the actor said: "I'm sure there's a few broken hearts — female and male, I don't know, maybe."

Mariano is a model who has appeared in campaigns for Abercrombie & Fitch, MAC, Armani Exchange and more as well as numerous catalogs for Victoria's Secret. Additionally, she has appeared as a model for Sports Illustrated, making her Swimsuit Issue debut in 2008.

She also has a few acting credits to her name, appearing in a handful of music videos, including JAY-Z’s "Show Me What You Got," and has made appearances in shows and films such as Chuck and The Audition.

As for Ventimiglia, he is currently starring in Land of Bad beside Liam Hemsworth, Luke Hemsworth and Russell Crowe. He told Extra his role in the action-thriller is much different from his beloved portrayal of Jack Pearson in This Is Us.

“As an actor, you get excited about flexing your muscle in a different way," he said. "That’s the great thing about being an actor is you get to change, you know. I could be America’s father in one TV show and then I could be a kick-ass war hero in another.”
