Update: In April 2021, Courtney Stodden announced that they are non-binary and use they/them pronouns. This content was written in August 2017 before they publicly announced their gender identity.

Million Dollar Matchmaker Patti Stanger has worked with several celebrity clients throughout her career — but none quite as unforgettable as Courtney Stodden.

Stanger visited PEOPLE Now to share her experience trying to make a love connection for the 22-year-old, who famously married 51-year-old actor Doug Hutchison when she was 16, and awarded Stodden the title of the “most difficult client to work with.”

“It was because she is so out-of-the-box and so uncontrollable,” explains Stanger, 56. “She thinks it’s okay to run around nude and naked and jump on people.”

In the new season of the show, Stanger has her hands full playing matchmaker for an array of celebrities including former Real Housewives of New York City star Kelly Bensimon, Real Housewives of Atlanta vet Claudia Jordan, onetime Baywatch babe Donna D’Errico, and Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise contestants Daniel Maguire and Vinny Ventiera. But according to Stanger, Stodden outdoes them all.

Stanger even spotted a connection between Stodden and another citizen of Bachelor Nation: “She’s kind of like Corinne [Olympios] a little bit — you can’t wrangle her and she giggles about it. I’m like, ‘You need to get serious!'”

Stodden, who turns 23 on Aug. 29, has become best known since marrying Hutchison for modeling and appearing on reality shows. The couple announced they were separating in early 2017 after six years together. Now Stodden is looking to give love a second chance but the relationship guru isn’t sure how to approach the situation.

“She is kind of like Marilyn Monroe stuck in this body where it’s okay for men to love you and she puts her sexy voice on,” says the love guru. “And then she does something crazy — a big twist at the end of the episode — and people are gonna be like, ‘What? Did that really happen?’ ”

Million Dollar Matchmaker premieres Friday at 10 p.m. ET on WE tv.
