Stealing the show!

Miley Cyrus stepped out on Monday night for the premiere of husband Liam Hemsworth's new movie, "Isn't It Romantic," but she actually went stag to the star-studded event, because Hemsworth is still feeling sick.

"Liam's feeling good. He has to, you know, rest up, but he loves this film," Cyrus told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet at The Theater at the Ace Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. "He's so proud of it, and I really wanted to be able to represent for him."

She added that "he just needs to take care of himself and getting healthy is more important than anything," though she didn't go into much detail on what her husband is actually sick with. Hemsworth's illness also forced him to miss the Grammy Awards the previous night.

Cyrus was a total vision in a glamorous red Maison Valentino gown as she posed for photographers alongside the film's other star, Rebel Wilson, and took photos with adoring fans. Following her edgy look at the Grammys, the sheer gown that Cyrus opted for for the premiere proved that she can pull off anything.

"I had my dress already and I couldn't let it go to waste," she explained to ET of her decision to still show up.

She further opened up about representing Hemsworth at his own premiere with a sweet Instagram post.

"So proud of my hunky hubby @liamhemsworth & his newest movie #IsntItRomantic," she said. "He unfortunately wasn’t able to attend due to health reasons... but he is recovering and taking this time to rest / heal. It’s hard for entertainers to put themselves before the project but this time it was crucial .... I am proud to represent him and his incredible work. So happy to see him shining in this comedy! He is the funniest person I know , and the world now gets to see the Liam I wake up to every day.... luckiest."

In addition to Wilson, the film's other stars were also in attendance on Monday: Priyanka Chopra showed up with husband Nick Jonas, Adam Devine posed with girlfriend Chloe Bridges and more.
