Miley Cyrus is asking for a "dose of bad ass" after being hospitalized.
The "Wrecking Ball" singer, 26, revealed on her Instagram Story Tuesday that she's in the hospital recovering from tonsillitis and may miss an upcoming commitment.
"Trying to heal as quick as I can to make it to Gorillapalooza w @TheEllenShow @PortiaDeRossi @BrunoMars this weekend!" Cyrus wrote alongside a picture of herself lying in a hospital bed connected to an IV.
She's referring to Saturday's Gorillapalooza, a charity concert put on by The Ellen Fund to raise money for gorilla conservation. The Hollywood event is sold out.
"Send goooooood vibes my way!" Cyrus added. "Hoping the Rock star G*DS send me a boost of bad ass and help me kick this (expletive) to the cub where it belongs. We got gorillas to save!"

Cyrus appeared to be in good spirits during her hospital stay, redesigning her standard gown to a more fashionable "punk rock baby doll halter" version and getting a makeover from her mom, Tish Cyrus.
"How you present yourself can determine how you feel!" Cyrus said in another post. "Thank you mama for helpin this little sickyyy look a little bit better by brushin my hair for me."
She added, "Mommy’s are the best!"

Cyrus' mother wasn't the only one to send her love. The singer was showered with rose petals and received a delivery of flowers and balloons.
