Miley Cyrus Says 'Change Is Inevitable' After Liam Hemsworth Split
Miley Cyrus is speaking her truth in her first social media post since news she's split with her husband, Liam Hemsworth.
In the cryptic message she shared on Sunday, the "She is Coming" singer showed how nature's evolution has paralleled with her path to personal growth, which apparently doesn't include her marriage.
"Don’t fight evolution, because you will never win," she began.
In a photo showing Cyrus hiking with a beautiful backdrop, she continued, "Like the mountain I am standing on top of, which was once under water, connected with Africa, change is inevitable."
Dropping some wisdom from her famous country singing father, Billy Ray Cyrus, she states, "My dad always told me 'Nature never hurries but it is always on time'.... it fills my heart with peace and hope KNOWING that is true."
Getting even deeper, Cyrus alludes that she plans on respecting the process during this difficult time.
"I was taught to respect the planet and its process and I am committed to doing the same with my own," she ends her post.
Cyrus' cryptic post comes hours after she was spotted kissing Brody Jenner's estranged wife, Kaitlynn Carter.
The two have been away in Italy all week spending some quality time on a mega-yacht.
Before the kissing photos even emerged, fans thought there might be trouble in paradise when they noticed Cyrus wasn't wearing her wedding ring.
On Saturday, the singer and her actor husband revealed they were splitting after less than a year of marriage.
In a statement to PEOPLE, reps for Cyrus said, "Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time."
The statement continued:
"Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
