Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth step out with bands on their left ring fingers
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth aren’t doing much to dispel those “secret wedding” rumors.
The couple stepped out for a coffee run in Georgia, each wearing a band on that finger. Hemsworth is filming his new movie, Killerman, in Savannah, and the “Malibu” singer is keeping him company. Fun fact: That’s also where the couple met and fell in love while filming The Last Song in 2009.
An Australian magazine alleged this week that the Voice coach, 24, and the Australian actor, 27, secretly tied the knot in April at their Malibu home. “I’m told only a handful of people were there, and they’re still the only ones who know,” a source alleged. “‘Miley and Liam haven’t really been making it public knowledge and don’t plan to any time soon.”
Tabloids have been claiming the couple is either secretly married or breaking up for months, so take the recent report with a grain of salt. The Hunger Games actor was spotted sporting a band in August; however, a source told TMZ at the time the two didn’t tie the knot … yet. Cyrus got the rumor mill going too when she was photographed with what also looked like a wedding band.

The couple first got engaged in 2012 but called things off a year later. They reconciled about two years ago. “I needed to change so much. And changing with someone else not changing like that is too hard,” Cyrus said to Elle about their break. “Suddenly you’re like, ‘I don’t recognize you anymore.’ We had to refall for each other.”
Cyrus penned “Malibu,” about Hemsworth, after they reconnected. “They’re going to talk about me if I come out of a restaurant with Liam,” Cyrus told the magazine of the reason she wrote the song about him. “So why not put the power back in my relationship and say, ‘This is how I feel’?”
Cyrus added, “Dating a musician [like me] is probably the worst thing ever, because you always end up having your shit in songs. It’s just inevitable.”
Perhaps we’ll get a clue into their marriage status on Cyrus’s next album.
