Instead, her fans are attacking her hairstylist for chopping off her luscious locks and giving the superstar "the worst haircut" they've ever seen. Miley Cyrus, who's remained silent since getting vocal surgery earlier this month, shared her new 'do on Instagram, which she got just in time for Thanksgiving and the Christmas holiday. Posing the blunt blonde cut, it's clear Miley Cyrus was feeling her new look despite all the hate.

Sadly, fans weren't happy with the "She Is Coming" singer's transition and took the chop pretty hard by directing their anger over the look at the person who did the cutting, her hairstylist, Sally Hershberger. “This is the worst haircut I’ve ever laid my eyes on u call urself a hairstylist 😢" stated one angry fan. They added that this haircut makes Miley Cyrus look like "she’s going through a meltdown again why can’t we ever win gonna go cry now bye! That was all.” Another stated, "Gross. WHHHHHHYYYYY??" Her hairstylist couldn't just sit back and take it. Instead, she took to social media to address everyone's concerns with a sassy clap back.

“@MileysGem first of all if you knew anything about hair, it’s the position she’s in that’s why it looks that way, it’s 100% even and she also had it straightened so it’s more severe, which I actually like,” Sally Hershberger replied. “That being said, chill out and know it’s a modern mullet, which is very cool but it’s something you probably aren’t even well-versed in sorry but not sorry 😂.” If we're being technical, Sally wasn't even the person who did the initial chop. Miley Cyrus' mom, Tish, took the scissors to the singer's hair first. Sharing a video of the first major cut, Tish looked more than excited to be involved in her daughter's transformation.
