She looks cute no matter what she does, but Miley's new haircut is turning heads. Cyrus is always one to do it big and we have to admit we normally find her entertaining. She may have gone a little too far this time around though. She is making headlines for allowing her mom to give her a birthday celebration haircut. Unfortunately, it looks as though mommy/daughter time has forced our girl Miley to call in the big guns for haircut correction.

You know what they say about a woman who changes her hair. She is about to be on her boss ish. Miley Cyrus has debuted a new hair cut and color on her Instagram earlier this week. The new hairstyle is a choppy sleek look and gone are the days where those brown roots are the center focus. She has gone full blond and we are here for the transformation.
While fans are used to Miley making drastic decisions on a whim the haircut came as a bit of a surprise. what was even more shocking was the video she uploaded to IGTV of her mom cutting off a snippet of her hair. This led fans to believe that the pop princess's mom gave her this choppy haircut. We wouldn't be surprised if this was the case the family always seems to get up to a few shenanigans when they are together. The true stylist is actually Sally Hershberger Miley's longtime hairstylist and family friend.
However, after announcing her divorce from her longtime beau Liam Hemsworth and finding herself in some interesting rebound relationships with Kaitlynn Carter and Cody Simpson, the haircut may be more symbolic than we thought. We all know Miley as being a creative person. Someone who has never shied away from pushing boundaries. We also know from her past that usually when she cuts her hair or does some fun colors she is essentially getting ready to debut something.
This could truly be a coincidence or just someone wanting to get rid of their roots. Regardless, she's just being Miley!
Unfortunately for Miley, fans are mixed on the haircut and they are not being quiet about it. Fans are attacking Sally Hershberger online in a vicious way. One Instagram user @MileysGem said: “This is the worst haircut I’ve ever laid my eyes on u call urself a hairstylist 😢 now this is gonna be all over TMZ and the news plus the locals that don’t like Miley are gonna think she’s going through a meltdown again why can’t we ever win gonna go cry now bye! That was all.”
The gag is Sally came in to fix what Miley's mom Trish Cyrus started. She also clapped back at a few of those crazy fans online. It may seem heartbreaking to her fans now but, it will grow on them like everything else she does. When has Miley ever steered her fans wrong? The recently single singer could be on the verge of giving us some fire music or she could just want a fresh take on her style. We will certainly be on the lookout these next couple of months for what she has in store for us.
