Miley Cyrus Ditches Wedding Ring Hours Before Announcing Liam Hemsworth Split
Miley Cyrus bared a naked ring finger just hours before announcing her split with husband Liam Hemsworth.
The "She is Coming" singer posed without her wedding ring on Saturday during her Italian vacation with Brody Jenner's estranged wife, Kaitlyn Carter.
The newly-single ladies have been flaunting their spectacular bikini bodies all over Italy this week.
Things seem to be heating up between the two because they were even spotted kissing each other on a yacht.
Cyrus isn't the only one who has ditched their wedding ring. Kaitlynn was spotted without her diamond while away on vacation too.
Interesting enough, days after she and Brody announced their split after one year of marriage, he was seen still wearing his band.
As The Blast reported, Cyrus and Hemsworth announced their breakup on Saturday, saying that they wanted to focus on themselves and their careers.
In a statement to PEOPLE, reps for Cyrus said, "Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time."
The statement continued:
"Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
Strangely, Cyrus defended her marriage to Hemsworth earlier this summer on their 10-year anniversary when breakup rumors first began to swirl.
"Happy 10 year anniversary my love. Good to see everyone is as dumb as they were in 2009!" she tweeted.
Adding, "Some things never change .... & I hope the way you feel about me is one of them."
