Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus honor Tom Petty with tribute performance

We’ve been thoroughly enjoying Miley Cyrus week on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and on Thursday night’s episode, she brought her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, to perform a tribute to the late Tom Petty.

Even though Miley has already had so many incredible moments on the show this week — including a hilarious sketch called “NBD” and a game of charades with Gal Gadot on this particular episode — the singer just can’t stop, won’t stop delivering great TV moments, and she sang Petty’s 1994 song, “Wildflowers,” beautifully with her dad on the guitar.

Following her performance, Miley took to Instagram to share this picture, with the caption: “Sang a tribute to #TomPetty with my dad @billyraycyrus & played charades with Gal Gadot …. safe to say today was a good one ! Thank you Jimmy for making it happen! This week has been beyond & it’s not over yet! Watch @fallontonight for more #MileyWeek !!!
