Miles Teller Would 'Absolutely' Do a 'Fantastic Four' Sequel

The comic-book film world is apparently ever-revolving, even after a box office flop.

Despite the fact that 2015’s “Fantastic Four” wasn’t all that fantastic, Miles Teller said in an interview with Jo Blo on Monday that he would “absolutely” do a sequel.

“Yeah, for sure. I loved the cast, I loved the characters,” Teller said when asked about the film.

The 2015 reboot was notoriously panned by critics and fans alike, garnering a meek $56 million in domestic sales. However, Teller said that his positive experience filming the first movie was enough to once again slip into the spandex suit.

“I think it’s such an interesting dynamic. I love how much they really need to rely on each other,” Teller went on to say. “This Avengers thing, they’ve kind of created their own Fantastic Four in a way, Marvel’s first family. Their powers can’t just exist on their own, you need Thor to do this, the Hulk to do his thing. So yeah, absolutely, I would do another one.”

Though Fox most likely won’t greenlight a sequel, Teller did note that the filmmaking process is a lifelong learning experience.

“Obviously you learn more as you go on; for me I’ve really enjoyed the fact that I’ve been able to work in pretty much every genre,” said Teller. “There’s a lot of different factors you’re going to take into account. I think script is super important, and director. The director is going to be the most powerful person in terms of what that final product is.”

Teller will appear in Todd Phillips’ new crime-drama “War Dogs” to be released on Aug. 19. The film also stars Jonah Hill and Bradley Cooper.
