When Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher wrote letters of leniency for the judge overlooking their friend, convicted rapist Danny Masteron’s trial, they stepped away from the public eye after the continued backlash. While the two appeared together in a video for Caitlin Clark, they’ve basically stayed away from events, premieres, and more; until now.

When you check out Kunis’ IMDb page, you see that she has so many projects lined up, so naturally, she’ll be back in the spotlight sooner than fans may have expected. In fact, Kunis had just made her first outing after the letters scandal, and she did it solo, too.

In case you missed it, on April 19, 2024, Kunis made a rare red carpet appearance at Family Guy’s 25th Anniversary Celebration during PaleyFest in L.A. You can see the photos below:

For the event, Kunis donned a polkda-dotted, black and white blouse, black slacks, and black heels; keeping with her dark red carpet go-to look.

While she arrived without Kutcher, Kunis was with her Family Guy co-stars in attendance like Alex Borstein, Seth MacFarlane, Seth Green, and Jennifer Tilly, to name a few. The event was to celebrate 25 years since Family Guy first aired.

So not only has Kunis’ rare red carpet event shocked people, especially since she’s stayed away from the public eye, but it also shocked people that she didn’t bring Kutcher along.

And if you need a recap as to why the pair have been away from the public eye: Kunis and Kutcher have been mostly MIA since it came to light that they supported convicted rapist Danny Masterson. After That 70’s Show star Masterson was sentenced to serve 30 years to life in prison for raping two women, letters from Kutcher and Kunis that tried to convince the judge of leniency were leaked. They created an apology video, but it received more criticism that claimed the video seemed disingenuous.
