Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino is a proud father of three kids with his wife Lauren Sorrentino.

The Jersey Shore alum married Lauren on Nov. 1, 2018, just months before he started his prison sentence for tax evasion. A year after his release, the couple announced they were expecting a baby and in May 2021, Romeo Reign was born. Two years later, in January 2023, their daughter, Mia Bella Elizabeth, joined the family.

In September 2023, Mike and Lauren revealed they are expecting their third child, a baby girl due in March 2024. Luna Lucia Sorrentino was born six months later in March 2024, the couple announced on Instagram.

After struggling with addiction, Mike frequently discusses his pride in being sober for eight years and how being a dad and husband has helped him to maintain it.

“I'll be honest with you. I'm happy to make it this far,” Mike told PEOPLE in August 2023 at the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation premiere. “I was so wild in my twenties and thirties that being the family man that I am today — being eight years sober in December, a dad of two, married five years in a happy, healthy marriage — I'm killing the game.”

Romeo, 2

Mike and Lauren announced they were expecting their first child together in November 2020 with a cheeky post on Instagram.

“We have a Baby Situation 🤰," Mike wrote alongside a photo with the words “Baby Sorrentino May 2021” written out in flour.

Romeo was born on May 26, 2021, weighing 6 lbs. 8 oz. and measuring 19 inches long. Before Romeo even came into the world, Mike already established that his son would not be watching anything from his iconic MTV show — where Mike got into quite a few risqué situations himself — until he was 18 years old.

"I'm obviously going to show him Jersey Shore: Family Vacation first because that series shows my comeback," Mike told E! Daily Pop of the revival series. "I'm a positive figure in the community, I'm sober five years, I'm in a happy marriage with a positive message. I'll probably wait until he's 18 so he can watch Jersey Shore, the original series."

In the same interview, he added that he could see his son and the children of other Jersey Shore cast members having their own spin-off show one day.

"I think that's gonna happen," he said. "We're on that road right now. All these kids, which are our nephews, they all have hundreds of thousands of followers on social media and they're like 5 and 6 years old — so imagine when they're 18 to 20 years old."

When he was 3 months old, Romeo met the cast of Jersey Shore, which Mike documented on his Instagram. The baby cuddled with Pauly DelVecchio and Vinny Guadagnino and posed for a photo with Jenni "JWoww" Farley's son Greyson Valor and Deena Cortese's son Christopher "C.J." John. In another snap, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi held the baby up while he smiled down at her.

In June 2023, the reality star celebrated his son’s second birthday with a Peter Rabbit-themed party. The event was complete with Peter Rabbit cut-outs and balloons, and even the dessert options had themed cookies and cake, including vegetable-shaped cake pops.

"The Second Birthday of Romeo Reign was Peter Rabbit themed and such an adorable situation," the couple told PEOPLE. "The day was magical and spent with close family and friends. We can't believe our sweet little boy is 2 and look forward to what's in store for his future."

Mia, 1

Mike announced he and his wife were expecting their second child in August 2022, but originally remained mum about the baby’s sex.

"There are very few things in life that you get to keep as a special surprise, for some people," Lauren told PEOPLE in September 2022. "I think it's only a matter of time before we do share it publicly, but we're super excited."

Mia was born on Jan. 24, 2023, weighing 5 lbs. 15 oz. Prior to her arrival, Romeo was getting excited about being a big brother. Lauren said her firstborn would go over to the new baby’s bassinet every morning.

“We tell him that the baby's going in there and we talked to him about it,” she said. “He's definitely more aware of everything right now. So I'm excited, as I grow more to start talking to him more about my belly and welcoming a baby sibling."

In October 2023, Mia celebrated her first Halloween dressed as Wonder Woman, while her brother opted out of a costume.

"Happy Halloween 🎃 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃," Mike wrote in an Instagram post of his two kids. "Wonder Woman & toddler ( not feeling well and refusing to put on his costume lol 😂)."

Luna

In September 2023, the happy couple announced they had a third child on the way, just nine months after welcoming Mia.

"Good things come in threes 🥹 Adding another pumpkin to our patch 🙏🏼," Mike and Lauren wrote in a joint post featuring flicks of the family enjoying the fall with a strip of ultrasound photos. "Baby #3 coming March 2024."

A little over a month later, the reality stars shared that their newest addition to the family will be another girl. The family of four posed in front of the iconic Shore House with its Italian-flag-painted garage door and, in the corner of the photo, added pink footprints.

Luna Lucia Sorrentino was born on March 6, 2024, at 5 lbs. 6 oz., Mike proudly announced on Instagram.

"3 under 3 will be quite the situation but we wouldn’t have it any other way 🍼," he wrote in the caption.
