Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino, Lauren welcome baby boy Romeo to the world

Wherefore art thou Romeo?

He's with mom and dad, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Lauren Sorrentino of “Jersey Shore Family Vacation.” Romeo Reign Sorrentino was born Wednesday, weighing 6 lbs., 8 oz. and 19 inches long, according to MTV.

The couple shared the first pictures of their bundle of joy on their respective accounts. "I'm not crying you are," Sorrentino commented on his wife's post.

And baby Situation, who already has his own Instagram account, has a lot of aunts and uncles showering him with love. The "Jersey Shore" cast congratulated the new parents.

"Welcome to my fam my gorgeous nephew," Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi wrote under Lauren's post. Deena Cortese, who welcomed her second child Cameron earlier this month, added, "Love all 3 of you ! Cameron can’t wait to meet his bestie."

Under Mike's Instagram announcement, Jenni "JWoww" Farley said she's "so happy," Vinny Guadagnino sent his "congrats" and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro said he's "so happy he (looks) like Laurenz and not you."

Romeo's story is part of the upcoming season of “Jersey Shore Family Vacation,” which debuts next week on MTV. Mike, 38, and Lauren, 36, host a gender reveal party for their castmates on the upcoming second half of Season 4, according to a teaser released May 11.

Mike and Lauren are college sweethearts. They were engaged in April 2018 and married in November of that year, just before Mike reported to prison on tax fraud charges. The nuptials were featured on the show.

After leaving prison, Mike and Lauren became focused on starting a family. They experienced a miscarriage in 2019, and in November 2020 announced they were expecting.

“We have Baby Situation,” said Mike on social media, adding that the pregnancy was going to be a storyline on the upcoming second half of Season 4 of “Jersey Shore Family Vacation.”
