Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino Celebrates First Wedding Anniversary With Lauren

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has been a married man for a full year! The "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" star and his wife, Lauren, said "I do" one year ago and they celebrated their very first wedding anniversary by loading up on carbs during a special dinner at their favorite Italian restaurant. The Sitch and Lauren kicked off their wedding anniversary weekend by making sure to capture their yummy dinner at Anjelica's restaurant in Sea Bright, New Jersey. They snapped a shot to remember the moment while cozying up over dessert in a private booth on Friday night.

Their Heartfelt Tributes:

The Situation and Lauren each posted the same shot on their social media. "Living My Blessed Life," he wrote while his wife captioned the photo, "Our Anniversary Dinner" and hashtagged the pasta emoji. Earlier in the day, she penned a sweet message to her husband calling him her "soulmate" and the "rock of our family." Sharing several snaps from their elaborate wedding day showing the two in their fancy garbs holding hands and cutting their cake, Lauren wrote, "Happy Anniversary my love! Thank you for being such an incredibly loving and supportive husband, you are the rock of our family, my best friend & soulmate. I couldn’t do this life without you. I love you forever!"

'Jersey Shore' Co-Stars Weigh In:

Sitch responded with an adorable comment back to his wife, writing, "Such a fairy Tale Wedding 👰 You deserved that and so much more. Happy Anniversary My Love." Lauren also posted a video from their wedding with a sentimental message stating it was "the most magical day." The Situation posted the video too and captioned it, "The day @lauren_sorrentino became my beautiful wife." Their "Jersey Shore" family was quick to comment congratulating them on their one-year. Vinny Guadagnino left a hilarious comment joking fun at Sitch's sweet tooth writing, "There comes a special time in life where everything just make sense and you realize true love really does exist ... that happened for mike one day when he opened his eyes .. and there she was ... the wedding cake." Pauly D joked, "Best day of my life and I wasn’t even the one gettin married."

First Year Wasn't Easy:

The Situation and Lauren's first year of marriage was not the breeziest with the MTV star being locked away. In January, Sitch turned himself into a New York federal prison to serve an eight month sentence for tax evasion. Lauren stayed by his side and he was released in September after serving his sentence and emerged with a body so ripped he looked like Rambo. Since his release, the duo have been focused on catching up on all the things they missed while he was away.

The first gathering they had was with family where The Sitch feasted like a king. Weeks later, the couple went out on their first date night which was full of meat, and Lauren even threw her husband a belated birthday party post-prison. She's even joining him on his crusade to help those who are suffering from addiction. The sober MTV star and his wife are donating their time at rehab facilities as recovery mentors. When The Situation isn't volunteering his time, he's hitting the gym for "Clap Back Season" and covering himself in blood to stay youthful like Kim Kardashian.
