Mike ‘The Situation’ Looks Relieved To Be Home In First Photo Since Prison Release

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is finally relaxing at home with his wife after being locked up in prison for 8 months.

The “Jersey Shore” star shared a smiling photo of himself with his arms wrapped around his wife and beloved dog, Mosey, under his own roof.

“Living my best life with my beautiful wife,” he captioned the cute pic.

His wife, Lauren, shared the same photo with and wrote, “The house don’t fall when the bones are good welcome home honey.”

Sitch was released Thursday morning around 8:30 AM and Lauren released a statement that read,

“We are elated to finally close this chapter of our life. Thank you to our family, friends and fans for the continuous love and support during this time, it brought us so much peace and comfort. We look forward to continuing our life as husband and wife and working on baby situations!"

In January of this year, he surrendered himself to a New York federal prison to serve a eight-month sentence for tax evasion.

Sorrentino was also sentenced to two years of supervised release and must complete 500 hours of community service.

Before entering prison, the reality star had celebrated three years of sobriety, and credited getting clean with helping keep him on a good path.

Mike documented his ride to turn himself in on Instagram Live where you can see his face go from jovial to depressed.

Now that he is free and in his own home, it’s safe to say Lauren and Mike will be working on adding baby situations to the “Jersey Shore” family.
