Mike Jones, Paul Wall, and Slim Thug are looking to relive the old days. The trio announced their “Still Tippin’” tour will take place later this year.

Video surfaced online on Sunday (Jan. 14) of Wall recording himself on the field at the Houston Texans’ NRG Stadium. He quickly panned the camera to Slim Thug and Mike Jones, who exclaimed “The tour is official, man! The tour is official!”

The “Drive Slow” rapper then turned the camera back to Thug, who revealed the back of his shirt that read “Still Tippin Tour” surrounding the number 44. The trio were visibly excited to be together and make this announcement, and the fans echoed those sentiments.

“Need to be in here with an Incredible Hulk for old times sake,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “We need dates expeditiously,” another user wrote. “That’s gonna be lit! Can’t wait for the tour,” another fan wrote with fire emojis.

The tour is titled after their classic 2005 record “Still Tippin'” which appeared on Mike Jones’ 2005 LP Who Is Mike Jones? “Still Tippin'” peaked at No. 60 on the Billboard Hot 100, No. 26 on the Hot Hip-Hop/R&B Songs chart, and No. 14 on the Hot Rap Songs chart. Commercial success aside, it quickly became a cult classic track and has withstood the test of time as one of the foundational records of an era where Houston rappers progressively grew to prominence in Hip-Hop.

Each rapper is still actively dropping new music to this day. Mike Jones released the single “She Making It Werk” back in September 2023. Paul Wall released his latest album The Great Wall back in December 2023. Slim Thug shared the deluxe version of his latest album Midlife Crisis this past Friday (Jan. 12).
