Michelle Yeoh is the new ambassador for Balenciaga!

The actress, 61, recently announced the news on social media by sharing snaps from her new campaign with the fashion house.

“I am thrilled to join @balenciaga as their brand ambassador 🖤,” Yeoh wrote on Instagram as she posed in a black turtleneck gown, while carrying a matching purse.

Standing by the doorway of a balcony, Yeoh looked elegant as she wore her hair in a slicked-back hairstyle.

In a second black-and-white portrait, the Everything Everywhere All at Once star rested her head on her hand as she wore a black blazer jacket and smiled softly at the camera.

Yeoh then shared another snap of her wearing the black turtleneck gown, writing, “Wearing Balenciaga makes me value the artistry and craftsmanship behind every piece.”

She added that the brand “embodies a sense of originality and relevance while always remaining true to its heritage as a couture atelier. It is an honor to partner with @balenciaga 🖤.”

In March, Yeoh became the first Southeast Asian actress to win the award for Best Actress at the Oscars. Speaking to reporters after her win for her role in Everything Everywhere All at Once, Yeoh spoke about the significance of her achievement in showing diversity and representation.
