Michelle Williams' Impression of Justin Timberlake as She Narrates Britney Spears' Memoir Goes Viral: 'Fo' Shiz'

Michelle Williams' impression of Justin Timberlake has fans listening to the audio version of Britney Spears' memoir buzzing.

The actress, 43, was selected to narrate the audio edition of Britney Spears' memoir, The Woman in Me. In one scene, Spears, 41, wrote about the "Cry Me a River" singer, 42, trying to impress Ginuwine in New York City — and Williams didn't hold back in her delivery.

“His band *NSYNC was back then what people called ‘so pimp.’ They were white boys but they loved hip-hop. To me, that’s what separated them from the Backstreet Boys, who seemed very consciously to position themselves as a white group,” Spears wrote. “*NSYNC hung out with Black artists. Sometimes I thought they tried too hard to fit in."

“One day J and I were in New York, going to parts of town I had never been to before. Walking our way was a guy with a huge, blinged-out medallion. He was flanked by two giant security guards," she added, before Williams leaned into the interpretation.

"J got all excited and said so loud, ‘Oh yeah, fo’ shiz fo’ shiz, Ginuwine, what’s up homie?’ After Ginuwine walked away, Felicia [Spears' assistant] did an impression of J ... J wasn’t even embarrassed. He just took it and looked at her like, ‘OK, f— you Fe.’”

After the book's release on Tuesday, fans started pulling the clip and posting it on social media with hilarious commentary.

"This bout to be the greatest clip of audio since Watergate," one fan wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Other social media users suggested she win an award for the recording.

One fan wrote, "when michelle williams wins the best audiobook recording grammy for this line reading what then."

Another one wrote, "michelle williams deserves an honorary egot for having to read this."

Spears released her much-anticipated memoir on Tuesday, through Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster.

“It is finally time for me to raise my voice and speak out, and my fans deserve to hear it directly from me,” Spears told PEOPLE in an email interview for last week's exclusive cover story. “No more conspiracy, no more lies — just me owning my past, present and future.”

After its release, she thanked her fans on social media and said her book had already made history.

“It’s happening ✨🤓📖 !!! My book is the highest selling celebrity memoir in history and it’s only day 1 !!!” her Instagram post caption began. “Thank you to the fans who have been so supportive !!! Love you all 🌹 !!! #TheWomanInMe @gallerybooks @simonandschuster.”

The caption was accompanied by a photo of the cover of her book with the words, “My story. On my terms. At last,” along with a promotional video.
