Michelle Williams impersonates Justin Timberlake while narrating hilarious part of Britney Spears' memoir

Based on her performance as the narrator of Britney Spears' new memoir, Michelle Williams could very well play Justin Timberlake in his biopic one day.

The five-time Oscar nominee made headlines when she was announced as the voice behind the audiobook edition of Spears' The Woman in Me, and her delivery has already lived up to the hype, with a passage from the memoir going viral just one day after its release.

In a chapter in which Spears recounts her relationship with Timberlake, whom she dated from 1999 until 2002, she describes their brief encounter with R&B artist Ginuwine, which seemed to have inspired Timberlake to try out a blaccent.

"His band NSYNC was what people back then called 'so pimp,'" Spears writes. "They were white boys, but they loved hip-hop. To me, that's what separated them from the Backstreet Boys — who seemed very consciously to position themselves as a white group. NSYNC hung out with Black artists."

In the viral clip that features Williams reading the singer's words, she continued, "One day, J and I were in New York, going to parts of town I had never been to before. Walking our way was a guy with a huge, blinged-out medallion — he was flanked by two giant security guards. J got all excited and said so loud, 'Oh yeah, fo' shiz, fo' shiz. Ginuwine, what's up, my homie?'"

She adds that after Ginuwine walked away, her longtime assistant Felicia Culotta did her own impression of Timberlake. "J wasn't even embarrassed. He just took it and looked at her like, 'Okay, fuck you.'"

Naturally, the passage with the actress saying "fo' shiz" in her best Timberlake voice quickly made the rounds, with fans joking about her "Oscar-worthy" performance. Other excerpts of Williams' narration are also blowing up, including her take on Mariah Carey and Spears' no-nonsense description of her little sister, Jamie Lynn.

Spears' memoir was released Tuesday, but even before it was available, stories from the pop star's life were circulating the internet. In an early excerpt from her book that PEOPLE published exclusively last week, Spears revealed that during their relationship, she became pregnant with Timberlake's baby and had an abortion because he wasn't ready to become a father.

The pregnancy was a surprise, Spears writes, "but for me, it wasn't a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I'd anticipated... Justin definitely wasn't happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren't ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young."

The couple were in their late teens and early 20s when they dated. Spears added, "If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn't want to be a father."
