Michelle Wie shares how Travis Kelce helped get special bracelet to Taylor Swift

Former pro golfer Michelle Wie West let out a joyful scream after the Chiefs won Super Bowl LVIII.

But it wasn’t because of the result.

Wie West was watching the celebration following the Chiefs’ 25-22 overtime victory that singer Taylor Swift was wearing a special bracelet.

While on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Wie West shared the story about how she had designed the bracelet that was on Swift’s wrist. She also revealed how Swift’s boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, helped get the jewelry to the “Eras Tour” singer.

“All thanks to Travis Kelce,” Wie West told Fallon. “Also an 8 AM guy. He’s the best. So I came up with the (jewelry) line. As you can see, it’s like a really upscale friendship bracelet, really inspired by Taylor. You know, it has diamonds it has like the beads. You can personalize however you want. So I messaged him and I was like, ‘Hey, we made a bracelet inspired by Taylor. We would love to just give her one. I don’t care what she does with it. I just want it to be given to her.’

“And I don’t really care about football too much. And after the game was done, I started screaming at my phone. I was like, ‘Oh my God!’ And my husband’s like, ‘Oh my god what’s wrong?’ I was like, ‘Taylor Swift is wearing my bracelet.’”

That “8 AM guy” is in regard to the “8 AM Golf Invitational” hosted by singer/actor Justin Timberlake. Two years ago, Kelce and teammate Patrick Mahomes won that event in Las Vegas. Wie West and Fallon also took part in the tournament.
